Mucociliary clearance analysis

The aim of this analysis is to measure the average value of mucociliary clearance (velocity in μm/s) on an epithelium

We developed an optimized microbead tracking process to measure the MucoCiliary Clearance (MCC) on our tissues.

Videos are taken under the microscope at 4fps, and then analyzed to determine the average velocity of the microbeads at the surface of the epithelium.
